Adjunct Professor Christopher Vertullo is a specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspecialty focus on knee surgery. He performs more than a thousand knee procedures each year and is involved in the care of elite athletes and professional sporting teams, while also contributing nationally as an advocate for sports injury prevention.
He has particular expertise in complex ACL and PCL reconstruction, rapid-recovery total and partial knee replacement, revision knee arthroplasty, meniscal repair and preservation, and advanced arthroscopic cartilage restoration techniques. His research is directed toward improving outcomes in knee surgery, and he holds a PhD in the optimisation of knee replacement results.
