Hamstring & Calf Stretches

After injury and knee surgery, tight hamstrings & calf muscles are very common.  Hamstring & calf stretching is very important. These muscle can be stretched in a variety of ways, but these two diagrams offer a simple way to start. Stretching 2-3 times per day is suggested. 

This stratch works with eiither a rubber "Theraband", a towel or a rubber bike tube. 

Stand on a step with both feet or just one. You can also use a small box or wedge.
